I can't think of any off the top of my head but I'll probably remember some soon.

I had a buddie who thought the words " a denial" repeated at the end of smells like teen spirit were actually "bloody knuckles", how he got that i'll never know
Out here you've gotta know where your towel is!

The first time I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit I think I was 10 and I thought it said:

Turn the lights out, Mrs. Davis
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us

Good times, good times.

Happiness is like peeing your pants

Opeth's song Blackwater Park.
The last line in the song is: "Sick liaisons raised this monumental mark; The sun sets forever over Blackwater Park"

The first time I heard it I thought instead of 'Sick liaisons' it was 'Six wee Asians'.

Amazing song, though.

There's a bit in Rise Inside by Killswitch Engage where he says

"Hatred. Is our weakness"

and i thought he said

"Baytree. Is our Weakness"

Baytree is a school near me for mentally and otherwise handicapped children.

I was at a party and my friend put on "Up The Punx" by The Casualties and a few people thought it was "Up the butt" and claimed they heard "buttfucked" and "anal bleeding" in the song

I mishear lyrics all the time; sometimes I think I'm going deaf. This morning I was listening to Emery and I thought he sung "I can give you my asshole".. (it should be "I can give you my answer" or something).

I really thought it was "this ain't a scene, it's a goddamn Ozzfest". But he mumbles, so sometimes I think he's just doing some scat vocal.

Joni Mitchell/Counting Crows - "Big Yellow Taxi"

"You dont know what youve got till it's gone
Big paradise put into fucking lie"
"That was it, a nick. Now happily paid for. [...] It was decided that it was so far away in time and influence that...well, you only get caught when you're successful. That's the game". Robert Plant

You know a music scene is fucked up when it becomes difficult to keep track of who killed who, who committed suicide and who alledgedly engaged in cannibalism.

I like the misheard lyrics to Nightwish's Wishmaster.

It goes "master, apprentice, heartborn, 7th seeker...." but because Tarja has such a strong Finnish accent it comes out sounding like "master, a dentist, hard porn steven segal"

Disturbiiiing...

I was just about to say that, too.

Personally, I think the song takes on a much deeper meaning when heard this way.

Obviously. Who doesn't love the steven segal porn.

I just found this on kissthisguy.com and laughed for like, 3 minutes

Well, I was just listening to Stevie Nicks' song the edge of seventeen and always though she said: just as the world winds blow, when in fact she is saying just like a white winged dove. Silly me. She's hot and has tonnes of great songs btw.
