Well, if Pete Townshend was able to completly destroy his guitar on stage I think Pete Wentz also has the rights to do this.
Don't get me wrong, I hate both The Who and Fall Out Boy.

Asshole. Doesnt deserve to own a ****ing instrument if that's how he treats them.

Ridiculous. Hes just doing it to impress. If he wasn't in a successful band then he wouldn't do that, its all for show.

...Why would you jump in for a bass Pete Wentz played, even if you were from the same trash band?

That was the worst thing i have ever at the sit threw
*shudders
SHE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

I love The Who, I hate that attitude though, loads of people can't afford that and would love to have any kind of instrument, I think it's a waste.

So no, it isn't really needed at all IMO.
