Not much choice there, if you want a good amp for your money buying a second hand one might not be a bad idea. You could probably get a marshall 30w or 50w second hand for $300 or under
If your parents never had children, chances are, you wont either.

for that price range it's gonna be tough to find what you're looking for. try the peavey valveking or if you already have pedals look into a fender blues jr. i would definately suggest trying to get a tube amp
