This is UG, we love Schecters and Ibanez and Jacksons, we hate Deans and BCR's, we hate Marshall MG's, and everyone needs a new amp.

BC Rich have some Superstrat guitars with OFRs and decent pickups incredibly cheap now.
And the Ibanez S series (non-prestige) possibly an RG1570 and various used Ibanezes.

ESP MH-400 and Jackson DKMG are the main alternatives.

Which one to get really all comes down to personal preference in looks and in the type of neck, which varies greatly between the three. I much prefer the ESP necks to anything else.

EDIT: Oh yeah, there's also the B.C. Rich Gunslinger Power. It's definitely worth checking out. I think it's a new model though, so I'm not sure what the situation is with availability.
