I personally think Adam D from Killswitch Engage is one of the most entertaining guitarists live, of course from the live shows I have been to so far.

EVH is frustrating to watch because he has no idea what hes doing. not to knock the guy but all his songs are riff based. they sound cool as hell but its almost like he used guess and check to write his songs.

I mean, he just gets SOOOOO into it.

I mean, I don't think I've ever saw anyone headbang THAT hard, at first, while tapping a riff like that.

That riff is hard enough to keep track of regularly, let alone headbanging.

Gosh, I 100% whole-heartedly agree with you. Theory is just so much more important than quality of the music...I mean...you can take one helluva song, but without the thery behind it, it's just so lacking passion and enjoyment...

It's true... Shred-and-move is damn hard. When I shred I'm more motionless than Clapton (who had no reason to be so still, as he can't shred).

I must be boring to watch

Sam Totman and Herman Li

Examples:
Sam says that Herman's mum is a prostitute who works at a laundromat. He claims to have slept with her, then not paid for the sex or the laundry. Herman walks off stage, aparrantly in a sulk. He comes back on a few seconds later and wraps half a metre of duct tape around Sam's head. All while they play a song.

Herman calls Sam a "f*cking kiwi c**t." Sam stretches the sides of his eyes to make them slanty. Herman stretches the top and bottom of his eyes to make them more round. Sam kicks herman in the arse.

Joe Walsh. Just he sounds so drunk when he talks, and he makes funny faces.
I think john mayer looks like an idiot while he plays guitar, he looks like a goose, he moves his head and neck around with a stupid facial expression. also, if you get it at the right angle, it looks like he's deep throating the microphone.
I also love watching Hubert Sumlin, and Buddy Guy in general.
