You know a music scene is fucked up when it becomes difficult to keep track of who killed who, who committed suicide and who alledgedly engaged in cannibalism.

Well, just about anything by the band Rapture (www.myspace.com/rapturefin) would work, or "The Arms of Sorrow" by Killswitch Engage. That's all I can think of at the moment.

shade by silverchair

awesome song and alot of fun to play
also bother by stonesour fairly easy to play, and though its not really "sad" maybe yellow ledbetter by pearl jam

That reminds me, the song "Untitled" by Silverchair is an excellent "sad" song...it was released on the Godzilla soundtrack, but don't let that deter you, it's an awesome song.

I know plenty believe me. I've seen both Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine live, so don't tell me I don't know my metal.

The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.
