A Epi Les Paul Standard or a Tony Iommi Sig SG? I was offered an TI SG for a trade in for my Epi LP, so I'm not sure...I imagine the SG is though, so I might go and do this. Any thoughts?

the LP is pretty good, but it depends on the sound and style you want. personally i favour the TI SG. it sounds dark and looks amazing. if only the fretboard was black and not brown.......

i got the iommi and forget stero types turni the guitar volume down, and it cleans up really well, can straight down to blues. Personally i love this guitar, im a serious player for 5 years dont like ibanez but i think this play like a dream. Sorry hate really thin necks. BUt forget the stereotypes of its a metal guitar, its not and niehter was iommi a metal guitarist.

Well the LP Standard is great for every style...not sure about Iommi. If you love Black Sabbath like you say, though, I'd go for the Iommi sig.

I'm looking here on MF at pictures of the left and right hand versions, and the left version has only 22 frets, compared to the 24 fret righty...WTF?

Iommi is left handed...This is weird, must be a typo or something. Check it out on the epiphone website or something

Lol, a typo on a fretboard, now I've seen it all! I shall check this site.

EDIT: checked site, definitely a mistake, as the one there has 24 frets.
