So yeah, I'm looking for some suggestions of bands kind of similar to melodic hardcore or post hardcore bands. I really don't know many but some ones I know are:
Rise Against
Comeback Kid
Thursday
(old) Saosin

Thanks.

All the bands Tyson posted are Melodic Hardcore. You don't need to sound like pop-punk to be melodic.

Not Saosin.

For post-hardcore, get into Drive Like Jehu, Ultra Dolphins, Armchairpolitician, Daniel Striped Tiger, These Arms are Snakes, and Quicksand.

I haven't listened to the first ep or whatever, but it's probably nothing like the bands I listed, which are post-hardcore.

lol isn't melodic hardcore like shai hulud or misery signals? old poison the well (mainly stuff from the opposite of december) could almost be considered melodic hardcore, or even old hopesfall (everything pre-A Types).
it's getting so hard to classify bands nowadays.

DL it, it's there absolutely amazing and I'm pretty sure it's post hardcore. It's called Translating the Name btw.

Edit: Just ask me and I'll send it to you actually.

Um, no-ones posted them so check out Signs of Hope?
Pretty sweet imo.
I considered them melodic hardcore, but I kinda suck with specific genres...

Lions?

I don't really know, I'm **** with genres. They're pointless anyway, to be fair.
