Which would be the best recording software to opt for?
I only have the cash for one, and none of the torrents I've tried work.

out of the three, I like Cubase.

Out of the three there...assuming you're going for the latest versions of each one, I'd say Cubase hands down. It's more professional also, and if you intend to go somewhere with recording as a profession in the future (or have thoughts of it), getting to grips with Cubase is a good start

I use acid mostly, but Cubase is more user friendly IMO

Get Reaper. It's uncrippled shareware and pretty damn good. Buy some nice plug-ins or interface with your money.

I went from Cubase to garage band. I like garageband better but maybe thats just me?

but i like it and use it. but i havent tried Cubase or FL yet, but i like GB i a bit more than Acid
