Why can't you add drums or bass with computer, when Radiohead do it themselves?
There is poetry in despair.

I just did the song creep! Fits perfect for this contest. Where should I send the link?

Question: It says 'No backing track', but if the backing track - the drum and bass part - is made by you, using VSTI, does that count? I'm thinking about doing High and Dry, because I have actually been working on covering the song before knowing about this contest. I have been making the backing tracks - the drums and the bass part - myself, note by note, using Sonar 7, with MIDI and VSTI. I can prove that I have actually made them. ex) showing you the MIDI track, screenshot of what kind of VSTI's I used etc.

as long as the backing track is made instrumentaly yes and use of a drum machine. No computerized backing tracks.

so you have to have vocals?

Yes you do...Maybe I can make an exception if the song is very hard to play and sing at the same time But if you are thinking of an song that has no vocals it's okey... But Hunting Bears and Treefingers is the only radiohead song I know without vocals:P

I think it would be fine to make instrumentals even out of radiohead's vocal songs like, for example, the instrumentals of the String Quartet Tribute to RH and Christopher O'Reily. You think so?
