Hi all. I'm planning to buy a decent pedal soon but can't decide which one would fit me the best.

I have a Ibanez RG350DX and a Fender Frontman FM 65R, aswell as a 30w Vox Valvetronix AD30VT.

I'm not just looking to purchase this for the effects. I'm also interested in the recording aspect of the pedal too.

I've narrowed my choices down to:

Vox ToneLab LE Valvetronix

DigiTech RP350

Boss GT-8

Line 6 PODXT Live

Input is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

Hey are all great pedals. I donno man, you are going to have to try them out, also what type of music to do play?

With the GT-8 you can record pristine quality thru the SPDIF output. And you can put analog distortion pedals in the send/recv loop if you decide to later start moving to some individual pedals. I'm sold on the GT-8 and these are the multifx units I've had or have....

GNX3 (have)
PodXT (have)
GT-8 (have)

AX3G/AX5G (had)
AX1500G (had)
GNX2 (had)
ToneLab Tabletop (had)
GuitarPort (had)
RP300A (had)

So the GT-8 and the Vox Tonelab LE seem the same to me... is there any difference?

my gt8 is very nice, great sounds, not so easy to set up, but once you figure it out
you will enjoy it... my gt3 a little easier to set up.. if you can find a gt3 - a little less
expensive and sounds good too get one price can range from 150 to 200 clean.
