im getting pissed.

I don't know whats up with my new strings, they won't stay in tune at all. I've had them for maybe over 2 weeks and they just won't stay in tune, I even stretched when I first got them.

It's a brand new guitar so their shouldn't be a problem with the tuners.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Even on my older guitar they stayed in tune better, these won't even stay in tune, they just drop without barely playing them. I figure the guy who put them on didn't put them on well

What brand strings are they?

What guitar do you have?

D'addario

I did go up a gauge from what I used to use, but they strings that were on the guitar Fender 250s were 10.

It's a '60 RI with a reverse headstock, I'm thinking of trading it in for a Jag though

There was a sticker on the back that said "For best performance continue use of the Fender 250s" I just dismissed it as corporate BS

What kind of bridge do you use?

Also, have you used these string brands before?

you're probably putting them on wrong.
you have to lock the strings into place not just put them on.

no thats irrellevant, because I went up from old guitar, my new one came with 10 gauge, which is what the D'addario are and is what I'm staying at.

there was never a lighter guage used
