Get a Jackson Dinky instead. I'm a HUGE Fender Fan, but honestly the Dinky is pretty much a HSS Floyd strat with three more frets and Seymour Duncans.

Look at a used Charvel Model 3, 375, CX390, 475 or Model 2 instead. Higher quality, many of them have MOP inlays, higher quality trems, and better pickups than anything you can buy for the same price ($300) today.

the HSS Floyd Strat has an OFR people.

Where does it say that? It just says Floyd Rose, and looks like it has a Schaller-type copy on it.

It would be a Decent guitar, but a Pickup Change would deffinatly help you get the metal tones. it would be brilliant for Blues though. Go for it if its in your price range and it feels good to you.
