hey
my ibanez (made in 1998 [closest model i can compare it to is the rg 1570])
is having some serious issues with the floyd rose
its not resetting back to were it should be after using the floyd or even just resting my hand on it, ive tried new springs, but they didnt help

it either goes a tone higher or a tone lower and it is so annoying - i dont want to have to bar my floyd!

help help help!

take out the floyd. see if anything is wrong. just retrace your steps to put it back in. if u find nothinmg wrong, go to a pro or get rid of it.

I had this very same problem and got rid of the floyd after 6 months - am in the process of replacing it with a Strat trem or a Kahler if I feel suficiently stupid to try and aim for anothe rlightning strike

This is what happens when you use a licensed Floyd Rose.

I'm trying to cover one of my bedroom walls in semen. I'm about half way done.

For the record, how much would it cost for an OFR? Curious here...

Slightly off topic, but 'LFR' doesn't mean crap.

OFR means actually made by FLoyd Rose, but they're not the only ones making quality trems.
You've read it, you can't un-read it!
