its a Gibson SG '61 reissue

*point:

1) the owner re-did the finish to white (does this affect anything? sound, etc)

2) theres a crack on the neck/head area like the pic. he states its only on the finish
but what do u guys think?

3) how much is the usual 2nd hand price for a Sg reissue? cheers

its selling for $1000

should i buy it? help me out seriously guys. thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's just the paint. The headstock is glued on exactly the other way around.

dnt touch it unless u can c it in person and play it cuz u dnt no how deep that crack is and it might be major

take it to a pro to look at the crack, could be a lot of money saved for a quick look over ... have you seen the logo on the headstock and checked the serial number with gibson to make sure its authentic ?
