Just adjust your guitar so it is in the same position when you stand up as when you are sitting down.

just practice standing instead of sitting for about a week. worked for me.

Try sticking your guitar on your left knee instead of your right when sitting.

Much better, IMO.

make sure your guitar is at a comfortable height, take it slow and you'll get it eventually
