Well i just purchased a really old, but good guitar and it needs some cleaning. The strings are rusted, there's dust and dirt on the body and around the pickups, the frets are rusted and the fingerboard is grimy. So my question is, what do i clean first? Like change the strings first, then clean the fingerboard, etc.

if the frets are rusty the first thing u do is refret the neck
that is the first thing u should do
and if the frets are that bad
u should have a pro tech check the rest of the guitar out and fix w/e is wrong
then restring it and clean it with some kind of cleaner ( there are a million out there, use which ever u want)
You get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!
