I need tips for better practicing. End result i want to eventually get a solo thing going and create a album. I know basic theroy and just started learning soloing and improv. Any tips? I know the minor pent , natural minor scales and major.

Lastly whast the going rate for lessons??

practice just you with songs that you know...and it really help if you practice with othere musicians as well because you will learn from them also.

Hey, don't worry keep on practicing. First try to master scales it really helps, then learn chord & at last the rythm.

It took me 3 months before I sang my first song- what a happy moment that was.Even my brother-in-law clapped though we don't get along well. Keep practicing, practice atleast 1 hour a day for 3 months.

If you have time learn all scales.

i play for about 4 hours a day. Mostly jsut learning songs that ppl already have done. I jsut thought may be lessons would get me farther.
