Hey all,
So my band has it's first live performance at out high school's talent show, and i was hoping to get some pointers on how to improve the feel of the show. we'll be playing reasonably upbeat songs, pretty basic rock, beatles-esque. Any advice on how to get the crowd really into our music live is MUCH appreciated

i forgot to include that we'll be competing against other types of performers, dancers, singers, pianists, etc.

pretend like you don't care what the crowd thinks of you. it makes the thinking process leading up to the show much easier
