So I want an amp that can place 2 of these tubes in them. What watts could I get with these tubes? I don't want it at 30 watts. I like it to be about 25, so I can crank it enough to get a bit of overdrive when I hit hard.

Could I fit 2 6V6GT tubes into a Blues Jr or a Blues Deluxe?

Thanks. Should I set it hotter or cooler? Also hotter in a bias meter means more numbers right? And how many 6V6GT tubes exactly?

EDIT: And how would a Mosrite Fuzzrite sound for classic stuff?

Dunno. Just know it can be done.

Here's something from Eurotubes, about the HRD and 6V6's...
A note to JJ 6V6 users; The JJ 6V6's can be biased as high as 45mv at the test points in Hotrod Deluxe's but most of these amps will only hit about 30mv but even at this setting they sound great. If you want to really push them then you need to drop the value of the final bias resister down by about 20%. A bias setting between 30 to 45 is best for the JJ 6V6's.
#6
apparently they should fit in a hot rod and blues deluxe. but you gotta make sure you get the right ones, or you'll blow them.

i'm looking to get me a pair of those babys, but i'm not sure if my tone will remain as good...
20 watts instead fo 40 seems nice though

EDIT: and what about a Deluxe Reverb ? i believe it runs on 6L6's and it's 22 watts.
i'd check if you could put 6L6's in those too. although i think then it would be down to 12 watts then...
hmm, crankable

ohhh... even MORE aressive ? when they break up you mean ? i found my 6L6's to be very aggresive already.

I believe there are JJ 6V6GTs, also Tung-Sol, so they aren't Groove Tubes. Anyway, on the biasing vid on EUtubes(the Hot Rod), he only biased 1 tube. Will I have to do the same to the other tubes? 'Cause I only saw 1 screw.

Question about mA and mv. Are they different? Could I just get a bias meter with mv and not mA?

Also, does the HRD have the same bias adjustment locations as the Blues Deluxe?

I believe he's adjusting a bias trim pot, I haven't watched the video. But I assume that's it. So it would just be one for both power tubes.

Yep it's a trim pot.

EDIT: Would this make the HRD OD a bit better? I'm not gonna use it temporarily. Just not gonna use a pedal for a while. So HRD, then tube change, then pedal. If I'm lucky, my parents will let me change tubes + get a pedal at the same time.

K, so Bob said that I can use a pair of JJ 6V6 and set them to about 22 - 24 mA. I'm buying Tung-Sol 6V6GT tubes, as JJ doesn't have 6V6GT tubes, so what should I set it in mA? And anyone know any mA to mv converter?

And what would be the output(watts) of a pair of JJ 6V6 set to 22 or 24 mA?

I'm gonna use a normal one. Measures in mA. Also, would raising the mA give me more headroom or less?

Thanks!

Lol. So I want to know if biasing it hotter means more headroom. I'll probably just keep it at the recommended mA though.

I was confused lol. So running tubes hotter meant less mA, example:

19 is hotter than 24, right?

All 6V6s you find now are 6V6GTs (smaller envelope).

And why don't you buy an amp for how it sounds, instead of what tubes it has?
