I'm interested in putting together my own telecaster, but because i'm a lefty i'm having a really hard time finding a body and neck. I've been trying ebay for a few weeks now and have had no luck, also tried a few local stores and nothing. Are there any other websites you could recommend to find one? And please dont recommend cutting my own because I have no woodworking skills whatsoever.

Give this guy a shot. He sells all Fender MIM parts. He doesn't always have lefty parts on his site but if you contact him he should be able to get what you want.
Hope this helps.

Hah, first result on there is an electron blue lefty tele body. I'd say he found paydirt. Just searching "left telecaster" yielded a ton of results, so I'd say just look around a bit.

Oh, and I'd get electronics and such from Stewart-Macdonald, if I were you. The prices are better, and they've always been more reliable for me.
Sincerely, Chad.

Psh cheap prices? stewmac? yeah right and oranges are purple.

If you know exactly what you need, get the electronics at an electronics shop local or online. Either way they charge about 1-2 dolalrs for a pot while stewmac or other local guitar stores will easily charge 3-10 dollars for them.

Overall, if you order from an actual electronics store you will save at least double what you would have paid at a guitar specialty store.

Yes, and we all know you can buy pickups at any electronic store. I can just personally vouch for the quality of their products, and since I rule out eBay all together (been screwed too many times on there), then they're the next best thing.
Sincerely, Chad.

Look on Ebay for eden products. You can get all kinds of tele necks and bodies from them. A good friend of mine bought a neck and body from them which turned out awesome, and the prices are super cheap. You can get an eden tele neck for about 30 bucks.
