got a quick question. lets say you wanna write an easy song consisting of power chords for the chorus blah blah blah..

lets just say as an example you are using a G5. to make the vocals sound good together are you supposed to sing in some octave of G or D? idk if thats how its normally done or what.

You could sing chord tones, or you could sing any note in the key, or any note at all (If you can make it work)
