I just moved from Audacity to Logic Express 7, and I've got a total newb question. I have a Toneport hooked up, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to set that to be the input for Logic. I found a few other threads on here that said it can be set under Preferences, but I've looked there a half dozen times and I'm still missing it.

It's probably really, really obvious, too.

EDIT: After looking around a bunch more, I keep finding that it's under "Devices" in Preferences. This tab doesn't exist for me; I'm going to try re-installing Logic.

in your applications folder there is a folder called UTILITIES - in that folder run AUDIO MIDI SETUP - run that to see if it's an option...
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!
