i have a 150w spider 3 and i need help with making some tones.dose anyone know how to make really good Post-hardcore and pop-punk tones?

emo boy 666, and you have a ridulously hi wattage line 6 amp
i can forsee major flammage
as far as tones go you'll be lucky to get any decent tones out of that amp

Try the crunch channel, add lots of mids, cut the treble and boost the bass a bit. Boost the gain on the channel while you're at it. You boost the gain by holding the tap tempo button and twist the gain knob up.

just to add to this - just in case you reply with something like "my amp has no gain knob, what you talking about " - The gain knob is called "drive" on the spider i think. at least it is on most line 6 products.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
