I don't really like the tone of either guitar tracks. And you need to work on smoothing out your lead work, but for only a year of playing it was pretty good.

In terms of composition, most of the time you need more than one chord progression for it to be a complete song.

But like I said, it's good for how long you've been playing.

I don't think I have any active crit threads for my songs, but I've got a couple on my profile if you wanna listen to them anyway.

thanks for the reply
yeah i know about the chord progression thing, my compositions usually don't have enough change in them and always continue the same pattern which makes them a little boring, which is why im gona work more on this song and write some lyrics too. what are some chord progressions i should use

the tone is okay i though. just too much gain.
and a bit bassy and times. leads need to be smoother.

the progression is kinda boring seeing as its only one for the whole song.

as for progressions you can use...just experiment. theres lots of common ones everyone uses without even noticing.

mines on my profile if you wanna check it out

I enjoyed that. I would call it riding down the street on my pony with my afro held high in the air! I think the lead needs to be toned down just a tish but overall its good. I didnt think the chords got boring but it was pretty short so maybe if you lengthened it it would. Nice work though

This is about paranoia and i wanted to know if it came across? Feel free to rip it apart!

The tone is horrible but the playing/composing is pretty decent. Just make another part to the song and it shall rock.
