Hi!

Me again =)
What do you think of Ibanez TBX150H head?
Cuz I can get some really cool sound from my TBX15R combo
and a guy at a High School gig had TBX150H head and cab and it sounded AWESOME!
He is a real maniak and he said that he loves that amp.
I wasn't able to try it but I will try it next week when I'll go to get my pickup to guitar shop.
so...I would be really glad if you'd share your opinion about that amp.
Thanks.

For the best tingle, use Original Source mint. That shit feels amazing on your balls.

Meh. I found the TBX150H much like a glorified practice amp. I mean, yeah, sure, it's got plenty of volume and can get some usable heavy tones but it severely lacks much for anything else. I mean, if you just play metal, I suppose you could go for it. You could get better solid states for the price. The Randall G3 series amplifiers wipe the floor with this thing.

Anyways, what styles do you play? What's your budget?

oh yeah...srry...I forgot about that.
it's 150 watts solid state.
I hate metal and I play punk and punk rock(only blink and yesterday I was bored and played some Green Day).
I play some Kiss,ac/dc and guns n' roses too.
But mostly punk.
my budget is around 400-500€.

Try out a Laney VC30. It would be perfect for that stuff.

Is it for gigging?
If so, check out these (or the VC30):

If not, try out the VC15 (above) or maybe the Orange TT

lol. ^ Actually the TBX150H isnt that bad.

I almost got one before I got my current rig. The guy I bought my current head from had the TBX150 sitting right next to my Randall. I tried them both and was almost sold on the TBX, but he wanted $350 for the whole Ibanez half stack and the grind on the Randall, imo, is way better then the Ibanez.

But it is good for metal, but the Randall is better. But the Ibanez, much in the same way the Randall is, is pretty much only for metal. I know I say that alot, that they are only metal amps, but that needs to be said alot so you understand it wont do the tones you're looking for. You wont get punk rock tones or certainly no classic rock tones either. That amp is pretty straight forward for metal.

My suggestion is a Classic 30 with an OD or a used Marshall DSL combo and an OD. Either one of those would be pretty nice for what you play.

a lot of people suggested me Peavey Valve King 112 or 212.
What do you think about them?
