in like 3 weeks I'm gonna buy a blackheart halfstack cause I'm tired of my practice amp. So I was wondering if anyone else has one and could shed some light on the halfstack, you know like how good or bad it is? Plz? Thks

it's relatively new, so not that many people have tried them. the few who have really seem to love it though.

You rang?

I've got the head and cab, great amp! It's clean at bedroom volumes, then gets nice and overdriven when cranked, read my thread about mine so I don't have to explain.

I thought that the blackheart was pretty bad.

Too warm and unresponsive, no presence.

That said, a lot of valve amps are like that, I guess unless you're a bright fan it'll be your cup of tea

I am definetely not a bright fan, and my friend isn't either (who just bought it), so we'll be fine.
Did you try playing with the EQ?
