I've been thinking about what I should do for a guitar schedule.

I can play around 3 hours a day so...

Option 1: 1.5 hours improving
1.5 hours learning songs

or

Option 2: 30 mins chomatic exercises
30 mins learning sweeps
30 mins legato
45 mins improv
45 mins learning songs

What one do you think is more beneficial to my guitar playing?

just play what you want to, schedules just put you under pressure.
i always play what i want to and if i dont want to practice something one day, i do it the next day

I never bother with schedules - takes the fun away for me. I just play what I want to and learn theory/better technique out of pure interest and determination, rather than forcing myself to do something i don't want to.

Yes Do what ever you like doing the best, but if you just wanna get better download micheal angelo's speed kills lessons itll help you alot with speed if thats what your looking for, if i force myself into doing stuff i usually end up quitting guitar for a month or 2 because it bores me, so i do what i want..
