im having trouble choosing which guitar i should go for. i went to guitar center today and played the quilt top one and it was really nice. they didnt have the others in stock tho so i didnt get to play them can i get anyones opinion on these guitars or reviews by people who own any of them?

Option 1.

It has a nice finish and later you can do some upgrades, like changing the bridge. I think that's an EdgeIII and it's swappable(sp?) with an OFR.

And you have already tried it.

I think Paul Gilbert use Dimarzios. I think he uses PAF Pro...but no sure.

ibanez guitars=not good. the last one has DESIGNED pickups not EMG pickups. and that one being most expensive and least pretty its a definate no. 2 has reverse head stock which are pains and the first one is prettier. i voted 2 since its cheap but 1 is probly the best for the money.

Oh yeah, Ibanez is crap, because Ed Roman thinks so. There's even an Anti-Ibanez Militia, so they must suck.

Go for an S320 or an S520 instead. You won't have to worry as much about trem replacement.
