Well every time I plug my electric in, the amp gives off a horrible buzz.
I've always thought that it was because my guitar isn't grounded, and that still might be the reason, but I found out that by turning the tone knob on my guitar all the way down, the buzzing goes completely away.
Does this mean anything?
And can I fix it myself?
Thank you.

that is the hum

try facing away from the amp to get rid of it

or play clean will definatley get rid of it

i get the same prob on my single coil pick ups [sitting facing towards a 100 wat amp does not help at all]
