I'm a 15 year old and just kinda got forced to play an acoustic thing by myself at this coffee place on the 16th. I'm lacking material. I play mostly blues-funky-rock stuff but I like it all. Suggestions?

Interesting. It turns out that there are people on the forum who play an upright bass. I'll make a note of that.

*makes note*

*puts note on wall*

*stares at note for a minute*

*sits back down and resumes doing what I was doing*

Bad Moon Rising - CCR

Temple of the King - Rainbow

"Desolation Row" by Bob Dylan. There's eleven minutes right there, and an excellent song.

Singing? If singing try doing Taylor by Jack Johnson, that's cool. Also Don't Panic by Coldplay sounds good solo. If really good at singing and playing try Neon by John Mayer.

If just playing try Mood for a Day by Yes. Some classical, Adelita by Francisco Tarrega is a winner and it's pretty easy, but kind of short. If you have two guitars or are very good at tuning quickly, try Rylynn by Andy McKee. It's really, and I mean really beautiful... but difficult. Same rule applies to tuning but Low C by Erick Turnbull is cool too.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.

Play Roulette by SOAD. That was a great song, fairly easy too. Also go for some not so well known songs so people can't say that you played it wrong

Wonderwall is always a safe bet.
try playing some of Tom Morello's acoustic ****, it's fairly straight forwards and sounds great.
Maybe some Our Lady Peace, Beatles, Guess Who... I dunno. Thats what i would play though.

A lot of Neil Young's stuff would work for you. So much I can't name a specific song: just look around a bit, see what interests you.
