Hey I was wondering what is the difference between and ibanez rg2ex1 and a ibanez rgt42dx...Pickups, body, neck. yea....But someone said It was just the exact same thing...So..

at first glance I would say the wood and the pick-ups. Keep in mind even if it says there the same wood they could of been grown under different conditions, making one more desirable. As for spiderjerusalem, I like Ibanez.

The most obvious difference - the RGT is neck-through while RG is bolt-on. Different body wood, trem versus hardtail. Really, the only thing they have in common is the neck profile. Well, and the body shape.

Yea thats what I was thinking that also...I really like shark inlay..
