hello. i have an audition soon for a degree in contemporary music performance at a music college, im playing bass (obv). part of the audition requires me to play in the styles of 'funk' 'blues' and 'rock'. i know, not very specific. i can play in those 3 styles, but im wondering if there are some good ways of practising them for this exam. im assuming for the exam they will give me some chord sheets and a backing track and i will play along. i dont have trouble with blues because a lot of it follows the same basic progressions and patterns. but 'funk' and 'rock', i can play them too, but if i had to make something up just like that with some chord sheets, i dont know how id handle.

thanks
i need to get a better signature.
