How do i lower the action on a strat?

If it is the standard strat type then there are 2 small allen screws on either side of each string where it goes over the saddle. all you have to do is loosen those screws and that lowers each individual string. Make sure to turn each of the 2 screws the same amount to keep them straight. adjust to how you want it and then retune and check your intonation.
