yo guys, i have been playing a fender squier for 2 years, and now i need a new bass. I'm on a short budget, and I'm looking for an amazing jazzy/older rock bass, that can play very funky riffs (red hot chilly pepers: higher ground, rush: yyz, ozzy: war pigs, pink floyd: money). any ideas??

Eh they're just complelety different. RHCP was just a buncha kids when they made that, having fun and partying on coke and heroine. I'm not surprised their cover came out sounding like that
