I just knocked my strat pretty hard on my amp when pulling it off its stand. Both it and my amp made a lot of noise, and my amp was off. Im not sure If that was from this incident, but i found a small dent on the side of the strat.

Could this have caused my guitar to mess up? Could that hit have messed up the sound quality of my guitar? I cant really tell because everything sounds the same on a stupid spider III.

Please help

A ding will not affect anything except for aesthetics. Now if the guitar has a huge crater in it, then I'd start worrying.

lol...my first guitar was a yamaha strat...spray painted..all over..stickers..
it had the pick guard superglued on and the bridge humbucker tied in
place with an old shoestring...and that thing still wouldn't die..
still played great...lmao..

funny thing is..i had a 20 yr old 100 watt peavey solid...rusted screws..
and i played on it..and it didnt get any better than that...
