I recently bought a Yamaha FD02 solid sikta spruce top guitar off ebay (kinda by accident) and because i already have an acoustic (a scratched up old laminated top F-310) which i would like to keep because unlike the FD02 i am not afraid of playing it roughly.

I put some new strings on it today and its a nice sounding guitar but it doesn't really feel right to me so i'm probably going to stick it on Ebay sometime soon.

It is an ex display model so it is therefore pretty much in perfect condition.

It is a solid top, not laminated.

I think the back and sides are solid as well.

It is pretty nice looking.

I paid about 50 quid in total for it but how much is it really worth?

I'm not sure if the last picture will work as imageshack is having some 'fatal errors' or something.

I am afraid the pictures are old as i can't find my camera at the moment.

I changed the strings, those pictures are old. Well, it was an accidental buy and the person threatened court action when i said i wanted to cancel it I just want to break even or make as much back as possible.

Isn't it your right to cancel a purchase?

I have the same yamah FD02. I got it in a starter package from costco that cost around $140 with a gigbag, tuner, strap and other jazz. Wonderful guitar for the price if set up correctly. I just put light guage strings on and im not very fond of the sound, it deffinatly sounds better with mediums. I guess ill have to wait untill something breaks.
