Should i buy slinkies or regular strings? i dont get real intense with it, i usually play rock riffs.

its all a matter of preference, I like regular slinkies because they're long-lasting, durable, and i've grown used the them, bt others swear behind boomers etc.

The all around, standard string is generally d'addario's, so you might want to try that.

ive found that elixers last the longest and have the (smoothest, slipperiest, fastest?) movement, but are expensive. slinkies would definately be my next choice.
My Gear:
Gibson Faded Flying V
"Dante's Inferno" Iceman
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 112
etc.

I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

strings are well pretty much strings, but personally I only trust Ernie and D'azarior strings only

both are good, your choice
