i know that when you play with a pick most of it should come from the wrist but my question is if i do exercises for the wrist will that help in the guitar playing aspect?
or is it bad to do that?

play up and down scales and make sure you mute the strings that youre not playing. that should give you a good way to practice wrist movement in that sense.

Gibson Faded Flying V
"Dante's Inferno" Iceman
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 112

I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.

i do those all the time man. but i never get the speed so sometimes when i have time i do those 1234 cromatic scales but i dont feel anything if i do then for 30 mins or so
so usually on weekeends i spend about 1-2 hours on it and my wrist afterwards feels tired like i been lifting some weights.

since i dont have the time during the week i was wondering if if could do that and still feel the burn but in less time if that will help my picking

my other problem is when i try to increase speed i get stuck on the strings
