It is my first 'riff' which i don't think sucks... I'm still working at this and the results are a bit poor, but i like this. The 'chords' can be also played without the 'D' string, which made the sound a bit more bass (but it may be only on my guitar, cause it isn't well tuned - about two tones down - the strings are a bit old and aren't able to hold the proper tuning for a long time :P

I would go for a more irregular strumming pattern, and possibly use full chords instead, to make a more original style, but the overall melody seems pretty good.

It isn't very creative, to be fair. It has potential but it needs more!
