No official title, so i thought id give it an odd one with a bit of irony. This has a pretty precise rhythm scheme known to me alone, but i can say that the shorter lines of the verses (lines 1&3) are meant to be said/sung/read slower and more broken up than the others, pronouncing each syllable as if a seperate word. The overall feel is meant to be slow in the verses (lone, muted guitar), then loud and crashing full band in the chorus. I dont write stuff often, and only post if i think its ok. Enjoy...I should get some sleep... 'C-4-C'

[Verse I]
It is getting late
But I don’t wanna sleep anymore
Don’t know what to do
But that has always been my problem
Not being able to make the most of a moment in time
I'm too concerned with what the future holds
…I am such a fool…

[Verse II]
I’ve said them again
Those words that nobody wanted to hear
Luckily this time
It’s just me repeating them to myself
In my head where I can keep them from hurting somebody else
Where this crazy likes to keep me awake
…A helpless cause…

[Chorus]
I lie awake
I'm so wound tight
I’d like to clear
My head of these thoughts
I'm wide awake
About to ignite
I would like
To shut myself off

[Verse III]
This is the only way
I can get this torment off my chest
This is just for
Every night that I’ve ever not slept
Every time my mind’s been plagued with thoughts I can’t put to rest
For every bloodshot eye to ever see daylight

[Chorus II]
I lie awake
I'm so wound tight
I’d like to clear
My head of these thoughts
I'm wide awake
About to ignite
I would like
To shut myself off

Feel free to ask if you want to know what some bits mean, though i think its mostly clear
