hey guys im looking for a new amp i need something versatile with creamy leads for those slash kind of leads and smooth overdrive and distortion and have srv type cleans ill have about $2000-2500 to spend what do u guys recommend?? i was thinking about a jvm or plexi but idk

+1 i wanted one until i played it.

a JCM would do slash pretty well, but i'm not sure about how to get a great SRV tone. I've been looking for one myself

EDIT: you will likely need more than one amp though.

Isn't SRV cleans kind of a oxymoron? He mostly used either a cranked fender or ran 2 tube screamers in front of it.

yea but clean is just a generalization of his tone its not really dirty its just kinda clean
