I'm wanting to try a lower tuner for a change (I used to be like against it..)
I usually use 11-50s in mostly drop d or standard..what gauges should i get if im looking to try drop Bb? Bb-c..like in flames tuning

yeah but they skinny on top and heavy on the bottom, they are actually pretty sick

ehh, 11-50? to 10-52, when you go to drop tuning's don't you want to have a thick top string...

if i usually tune my 11 to an E i think id want more than 11 for a C...

and more than a 52 or 54 for a Bb if i usually tune it to a D

Well your already using a heavy gauge, especially for standard/drop d .
I use GHS Boomers 10-52 gauge in drop C and it's awesome.
So maybe....56-12 for drop Bb stuff.

hands down the best strings are elixer nanoweb 10s 0r 11s for electric
and elixer nanoweb acoustic 13s
those strings will last like 3 or four months

Those are the strings I use, and the tension when I'm in Drop C is fine, I've never gone lower with them, though.
