they both said my suggestion so no need to repeat it

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

i personally am a fan of the boss ph-3, because it has just about every phasing option you need in one great sounding pedal.

for lighter EVH type phasing: MXR Phase 90

for a more psychedeilic pink floyd type sound with more versatility: EHX Small Stone.

It can (at least the Script version can) but IMO the Small Stone does it better.

is the nano any worse than the normal small stone? i've heard that it has less of a volume drop than the normal stone. how does it compare soundwise?
Sincerely,

i've heard the regular small stone has a volume drop, and the nano stone has noise issues...

i think it was the nano clone chorus that had terrible noise problems, alot of people recommend the nano stone over the normal one, i guess i'll have to try one out.

mxr custom shop phase 90 is $100
regular phase 90 is less, but not as good IMO
small stone is nice, and different sounding
boss ph-2 (get on ebay) is great IMO, but a little different

those are the ones under $100 that i would recomend trying out

The Worm by EHX has a vintagey phaser, but be warned, it is a bit bassy. But, you get a couple of other effects too, for $120.

Good for you. Have a cookie.

But really... there's no cookie. And if there was, you wouldn't get one.

The Dano phaser ain't bad. I actually have a Fab series flanger that sounds good to me, but I don't gig. I love the Small Stone. They've been around forever but they used to not stand up to heavy use (I threw away a couple.) Don't know what the newer versions are like.

I bought a Nano Small Stone last month and really like it. It isn't a noisy pedal, and there is no volume drop. I just reviewed it for this web site if you want more info.

I spent some time comparing it to the Phase 90 when I bought it: they are both good pedals, but IMHO the Small Stone sounded more lush, the rate dial had more sweep, and a wider variety of tones were available with the "colour" switch. Best of all, the Small Stone was 2/3 the price of the Phase 90.

Although I don't think you can really go wrong with either model, but I would recommend the Nano Small Stone.
