it says that it has a clear sealed finish and that it can be painted....


do i just spray it on or what??? please help!!!!

well with that specific type, you will have to do the routine grain filler and sanding sealer. However instead of putting on a primer like you would for a color coat, you spray that color on right after the sanding sealer is sanded smooth. Apply as as many coats of it as you liek to determine the how dark you want the color. Once it is dry apply clear coat on top of it, same clear coating procedures as normal.

The SAGA kits already have sanding sealer on them, a lot of sealer on them. Just do a quick sanding with 320 grit and you'll be ready to paint it. I would do light coats at first to see how it covers.

However, I just finished building the same kit you are considering and quite honestly it's a piece of crap. It looks great but plays for crap and sounds about the same. I am going to switch out the electronics and pickups to see if that helps but stock they suck.

so i just sand off the sealer on it and then spray the color on....then how do u get that nice polished finish?
