I want to rewire a strat style guitar with one bridge pickup with split coils and a killswitch. Can I use 2 spst switches (one for kill, one for split) and a 500k pot?

they're both do-able with an SPST for each one.

look at the first two diagrams on top for coil split. see it's only using only two lugs of the SPDT? that means u can chop off that top lug on the pic and make it an spst.

You need a SPDT for the split.
