mm im kinda getting my first pedal after saving hell god knows how hard it was
so my budget is arround 90-120 usd
i lived in malaysia so some pedal cant be found here
can u guys recomend me some good pedals for beginners?
im thinking of EHX metall muff with top boost
but its 160 usd and its out from my budget and the shop kinda dont have the stock
i dont want mt-2 because its too common here
i played metal and own a jackson Dinky with d.d
my amp is roland cube
so suggestion is very helpfull thanks

What kind of cube do you have? Most Cubes have great drive for metal.

If you want to stick with Boss and don't want the MT-2, check out the ML-2. While it's not amazing, I like it better than the MT-2.

well its just a micro cube for home practice
i want to use the pedal for gigs and etc
someone recomended me zoom tri metal and guyatone mm-1
its second hand
i dont know bout ml2
i tested it and i dont really like the sound of boss pedal

Try the Metal Muff or the MXR DD-11. Those two are a bit of a tweaker though. You won't get an amazing sound right out of the bat. Check out the Zvex Box of Metal too. It has a built in noise gate. How cool is that?

i dont know how does tweak sounds like or other terms like crank buzz deep

how much does zvex box?
i never heard of that pedal in malaysia though

You won't get any gigging power out of that Microcube. You might be able to put a pedal directly through the PA, but it won't sound great.

I suggest you save up your money and buy a tube amp for gigs.
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.
