I just got an epiphone Explorer, and I'm unable to play it with a strap, as the screw closest to the neck keeps pulling out the hole straight away.
I've tried most simple things such as screwing it tighter, but i'm stumped. I was thinking of filling the hole with superglue..but i'd hate to mess up my guitar.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

1) holding it by the coloured part, dip a match in PVA glue

2) insert into hole

3) snap head off

4) screw in screw

5) there is no 5, its that simple
Get off this damn forum and play your damn guitar.

break some toothpicks to be the right length and put them in the hole to tighten it up. or mix saw dust with woodglue and put that in the hole. try to toothpicks first.

I'd do this too if i had this problem but wait for the glue to dry before putting screw back in.
