hey while were at it, whats a good stack tube amp for under 1000$? im looking into marshall or mesa boogie at the moment.

+2 on the Classic 30, the are hard to beat and can do nearly any type of tone with a nice OD, with the expetion of modern high gain metal. Really, 600 dollars is a bargin for that amp. If you didn't know it kinda a cross between a Vox AC30 and a vintage marshall tone.
