i was wondering if this was any good of an amp, ive been looking at spider 3's and MGs but it prety obvious to me now that there sh*t... and so i was bored in class today and found the Frontman 212R

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-Frontman-212R-100W-2x12-Guitar-Combo-Amp-104506076-i1323510.gc

i have a frontman 25R and im satisfied with it, but its muddy and not all that loud... is this a good all around amp?

i have one of those! i dont play it though....(i play my twin) But i dont think its worth the $$...spend 100-200 extra bucks and get a peavey classic 30 its a great sounding tube

what kind of music do you play/what guitar do you have?

btw most people will tell you to get a tube amp on here rather than you spend tht much on solid state

i was considering getting one, but i got the 100w valvetronix instead.
the valvetronix amps just had a price reduction, which makes it the same price but a hell of a lot better.
if i were you i'd get a valvetronix, they kick ass

from what i hear and see and tried fenders have bad distortion but nice reverb
i believe i played this amp at guitar center and it was really bad but i dont think it's worth buying
1) because it's not tube and cannot get as loud as you would think
2) the distortion is cheap
3) it's heavy and expensive and when you're spending that mcuh money you might as well save for something better

personally ibe been really interested in peavey valvekings, and some vox amps
i am like you with the frontman 25R but im not really satisfied with it and i want a tube amp the doesnt require a stack and head because it's too big for me

i can only suggest my own ideas

hope i helped

no, don't go for it. Peavey Classic 30 or the Peavey Windsor studio is the way to go

a few things though: If you want to play clean and classic rock, go for the Classic 30. The Windsor doesn't have veru good cleans, but the dirty side of it is better than the classic. With an OD it can do metal, they say

If you wanna hear some clips of a peavey classic, check out the mp3's on my profile. I have one with it clean (with a little of tubescreamer dirt), and one filthy.
Call me Wes.
